Cariloha’s made-from-bamboo maxi skirts are available exclusively at Cariloha stores.
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Bamboo clothing, bedding and accessories retailer, Cariloha, this week launched its 2-in-1 maxi skirts, which double as a skirt and a dress and are made from eco-friendly bamboo-fabric blends and designed by Cariloha’s product and design team. Available exclusively at Cariloha stores, the new bamboo maxi skirts not only broaden Cariloha’s Bamboo Style™ collection for women, but also provide customers with a comfortable skirt that’s adaptable and fashionable enough to be worn in multiple settings and occasions.
Cariloha’s maxi skirts are made from Cariloha’s proprietary viscose-from-bamboo blend, which consists of 48% Bamboo, 47% Modal, and 5% Spandex for improved structure and flexibility. Available in black and crème ( with interior liner). Retail price is $79.
“The bamboo maxi skirts give customers two popular looks for the price of one,” said Scott Brady, Cariloha AVP of Communications. “Its irresistibly soft fabric and tailoring allow it be worn not only as a soft, full-length skirt, but also as a comfortable tube dress. It also features a fold-over stretch panel, two spaghetti straps and flowing construction with a ruffle-stitched hem.”
When worn as a skirt, Cariloha’s 2-in-1 Maxi can be ruched around the waistline for a more fashionable look, or it can be paired with one of Cariloha’s bamboo tanks, scoops or V-necks, or simply worn without a top for a freestyle look.
“If customers are from a warm, humid climate, the hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking properties of the bamboo skirt keeps customers cooler and helps prevent skin irritation, unlike non-bamboo dress,” said Brady. “Allergies, odors and heat are repelled easier because of the naturally occurring bamboo properties, which make the skirt ideal for a long, hot day away from home when slipping into something more comfortable is as simple as adjusting the skirt to be a dress or vice versa.”
“Because of how versatile the maxi skirt is, it’s great for traveling,” said Brady. “You can bring one skirt, but it makes five different outfits. Women LOVE that.”
Five Ways to Wear the 2-in-1 Maxi Skirt
1. Position the skirt so the slit is in back, then fold the top over the waist and tie the bow on side.
2. Position the skirt so the slit is on the side, then fold the top over the waist and tie the bow at back. Grab both ends of the bottom slit and tie them together to form a knot.
3. Position the skirt so the slit is on the side and the top covers the bust, then grab the straps and wrap them around the neck, tying the bow in the back of the neck.
4. Position the skirt so the slit is on the side and the top covers the bust, then grab the straps and tie the bow in front above the bust.
5. Position the skirt so the slit is on the side and the top covers the bust, then fold the top over the chest and tie the bow in front below the bust.
Cariloha Bamboo skirts come with a 90-day quality guarantee. If the skirt doesn’t live up to the customers’ expectations, Cariloha replaces it without reservation. The skirt is machine washable and tumble dried low, so maintenance is easy and worry-free. Skirts will stay soft even after washing.
